Famous young Malayalam actor Jishnu Raghavan, son of former Malayalam actor Raghavan passed away on 25 march 2016 Friday morning in a private hospital in Kochi. He was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and was undergoing treatment for the same for the last two years. Earlier it was completely cured ad was discharged from the hospital but the deadly disease again caught this 35year old guy, and taken his life, adding to another film celebrity death in this year. Jishnu started his carrier with the film ‘kilippatt’ in the year 1987, and till now he appeared in almost 25 films, and debuted in Bollywood with the remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Traffic’. After his first movie he debuted as a leading actor in the blockbuster movie ‘Nammal’ directed by Kamal in 2002, for his performance he was awarded by kerala film critics award for ther best male debut.
His famous movies are Choonda, Freedom, Parayam, Nerariyan CBI , Pauran, Chakkara Muthu. After a break he returned to the film industry through the super hit fil Ordinary, Nidra, Ustad Hotel, Banking hours 10 to 4, Annum Innum Ennum, and his last film was Rabecca Uthup Kizhakkemala.
